How To Pick The Right Insole Arch Height
Buying an insole without knowing your arch is a gamble. Get the height wrong and you trade one ache for another by the end of the week.
Your arch type decides how much support you need. Flat feet want more lift, high arches want more cushion, and neutral feet fall in between.
- Wet your foot and step on paper to read your arch print.
- A full print means a flat arch and a need for higher support.
- A thin print means a high arch and a need for more cushion.
- A medium band means neutral and a need for moderate support.
Most shops sell three heights, and the middle one fits more people than you would think. When in doubt, start neutral and move up only if your feet roll inward.
